Don’t have the pitching staff to do tournaments? Throw out the pitch counts, the Youth League City Championship is an all age Machine Pitch tournament. This is a tournament that will show WHO CAN HIT and WHO CAN FIELD. Tired of only getting 3 to 4 innings in a ball game? This fast paced defensive format provides players more at bats, which means, more hits, more defensive plays, and more innings.
There will not be a better opportunity for league teams to play in another tournament where you can walk away feeling more confident at the plate and an improved defensive game!!

Rules and Format:
3 Balls will be provided per game. Teams will replace any home run balls (be prepared to replace several for this tournament).
2 Pool games Friday and Saturday, bracket play on Sunday (1st game will determine if your team moves through the winners bracket or consilation bracket)
Machines and "L-screens" (9U-14U) will be placed at 42' for all ages
6 inning ball games
1:00 time limit
Mathematical spreads will be in effect
6 run half innings
Machine speeds will be as follows - 13/14U 46 MPH, 12/11U 44 MPH, 9/10U 42 MPH, 8U 38 MPH, 7U 36 MPH
Entire line-up bats regardless of age level
Flip for home team throughout pool play. Bracket play, higher seed is home (including championship game)
Games may end in a tie if time limit has expired (other than in bracket play)
