Kansas City Metro League Baseball
KCMLB

The NKCA Baseball League is proud to be participating in the Kansas City Metro League Baseball.  The KCMLB has been developed for local area high school baseball teams.

In today's environment, high school teams end their baseball season around mid-May.  The KCMLB will allow their teams to stay intact through the summer months.

From a players perspective, the KCMLB will mean more opportunities, exposure to their high school coaches, and improved/consistent development.

For coaches, the KCMLB provides extended player evaluations, strong team chemistry, and player development.

This program allows players to continue to play on their NKCA Baseball League team and/or their weekend tournament/travel team while participating in the KCMLB with their high school team.

Another significant piece to the KCMLB program is the Prospect League for incoming Freshman (14U).  This program will provide inbound freshman the opportunity to work with their future High School coaches during the Summer.  Games will be played on Thursday nights so as not to interfer with their current Summer teams.  For many players this will also be their first experience on a 60'/90' infield.   Historically, future High School baseball players only have a 3 to 5 day window to show what they can do, this program gives you an additional 8 games to showcase your skills.  Playing in the Prospect League will provide players and coaches a improved evaluation experience.
